A bit of a belated post from before the July 4 holiday...... My friend Kris and I met at the Free Farm, and we've been friends ever since. We found that we shared a passion for labyrinths and then my dog Zilly fell in love with her (and trust me, he doesn't fall for everyone!) We've been working together on the St. Mark's garden ever since the Free Farm closed - Kris lives next door and she does the heavy lifting - Zilly and I help along the way. When I have projects at St. Aidan's Kris and her mom Roxie are always there to help. Our latest St. Mark's harvest became part of a wonderful salad for Diamond Diners at St. Aidan's on the July 4 themed lunch.....Anyway, as I was looking at photos this morning, I thought about how appreciative I am of friendship and gardens and our earth.
