We have SO much mint at the St. Mark's garden - we call it our "mint mound" and it includes chocolate mint --- yumm......And the greens at Little Red Hen just keep coming. A few poppies are still around as well. Beauty from the garden on a pretty Pride Saturday....

When I was at Little Red Hen garden on Saturday, one of my generous fellow gardeners invited me to harvest as much of his beautiful Chard as I might be able to use. I give away everything that I grow at the garden, so I readily took him up on his kind offer. I brought the chard to the Free Farm Stand in the Mission. So today I offer gratitude and thanks for my gardening friends, for generosity, and for deep green chard!
In the midst of such dismaying news about our administration's participation in the Paris Climate agreement, I've been trying to make an intentional practice of appreciating creation every day. There have been such amazing greens in the St. Aidan's and Little Red Hen gardens, that I wanted to share the latest photos. These greens went to the Diamond Diner's senior lunch on Wednesday, and to Western Park Apartments (a senior housing complex on Laguna) yesterday. With love for our world.....
