As shelter in place is beginning to feel like "forever and ever amen" - here are some photos of the beauty right in my tiny front yard. I have such gratitude that I only need to peer out of the front window to see such evidence of glory in the world. Be well, everyone.

Normally I would pick a photo of a dramatic sunset or awesome vista for Earth Day...But this year, as we shelter in place I'm kind of focused on the little bits of beauty in my life. This is one - a photo of the light well in my dining room - a few plants, including a hardy bright red geranium and some little orchids that are providing me cheer and hope every day. Happy Earth Day 2020 everyone...
A few photos for a sunny Sunday in SF. From my neighbor Jane, and also a few taken from my house. Creation is so very beautiful..... Happy April 19th, all.....
This fun series is from my friend Fabienne (thank you!) from her world for your viewing pleasure, as you make your way through week 5 of shelter in place...I particularly love how great her handmade flowers look - they make me happy!
While Easter certainly doesn't seem the same this year (understatement...), there are Easter flowers and Easter joy all around us. Just a few from my neighborhood, from walks pre and early COVID-19 days. Alleluia to us all.
Today we are mid-way into week 4 of shelter in place, in the midst of Holy Week, and at the start of Passover. It's a lot - a lot to process, a lot of change, a lot of grief and worry. And yet, our faith grounding is firmly around us. I'm leaning on that grounding, and remembering to be thankful for the smallest of things. My friend Nicole sent me the photos below with a note saying "no need to post these, they are ordinary, even weeds....." I thought that was such a great reminder of the beauty of the ordinary.....which is not so ordinary at all.....
A small tour through Golden Gate park for Palm Sunday - with thanks to Ellen and Marilyn for their photos. May our virtual processions be joyous today, as we begin Holy Week.
This one is of a beautiful sunrise in Tampa, Florida from my sister Liz. Thinking of everyone as we take care and shelter in place...
