I think this is the biggest potato harvest to date at the Little Red Hen garden! These will go to Diamond Diners next week at St. Aidan's - for our senior guests to take home with them. They've done so well that I think I'll plant another batch very soon...

News from one of our parish Good News Gardens - from the Partridge/Paul household - there are tomato plants going strong, cilantro that has been dug up by varmints but is replanted, also basil, mint, parsley, sage, and thyme, and a struggling pepper plant.
From the Little Red Hen garden the big news is many many potatoes and also flowers... Photos for your Sunday... On a walk this week, I noticed this sweet little presentation that someone put together outside of their house. It made me smile. Which we need in these times.....So I wanted to share it, on a cool and a little bit rainy SF Saturday.
I know that I posted a photo of tomatoes some time ago, but I just had to do it again, because these beauties are from the Little Red Hen garden in Diamond Heights, which is way foggier than my home where the others were grown. I'm so amazed that they are doing so well. They are bringing me joy during this wild ride of a week....
