Micro-climates are such a cool thing in the Bay area. At Stanford, my husband Page is growing the most amazing tomatoes, which are not possible in foggy SF. In SF right now at the Little Red Hen garden there is a lovely apple tree which one of my fellow gardeners has been generous enough to let me glean for the Free Farm Stand. And then, the greens just keep coming in all of my SF gardens!

Last week my husband Page and I were in Colorado visiting our son Sam. What a beautiful place. We hiked and camped and had a lot of lovely outdoors time. We didn't know that the wildflowers would be at their height, so that was a lovely surprise. I couldn't resist sharing some photos, in the slide show here... |
