On Saturday June 21, with the help of our new friends and neighbors, we were able to plant a lovely new part of St. Aidans’ garden. This was a project sponsored by Supervisor Scott Wiener’s office (thank you thank you), spearheaded by Paul Matalucci and implemented by the wonderful people from Friends of the Urban Forest. The project is related to a median strip beautification project for Diamond Heights Blvd. which also began on Saturday (check out the pretty plants there.) Slide show below shows the project and expresses gratitude and thanks for all who got their hands in the dirt and made our neighborhood a little greener.
