I am lucky enough to garden in three places - at St. Mark's church, at the Little Red Hen garden, and at St. Aidan's church. Yesterday I brought the bounty of each garden to the Free Farm Stand in the mission - greens and carrots and basil and berries from St. Mark's, beautiful dahlias and herbs that a fellow gardener from Little Red Hen gave me to bring over (thank you Mary!), and greens and carrots and radishes from St. Aidan's gardens at the church and at Little Red Hen. I also have catnip from my friend Kris to give away at the Farm stand (thank you Kris!) and lemon verbena to dry to give away as well. Last but not least, I couldn't resist adding a photo of the yellow roses at St. Mark's - which make me smile...and which seem like the last hurrah of summer!
