Fall is the time of year that I miss my former home in New Hampshire the most – the brilliant colors, the crisp air, the blue blue sky. I remember the place, the vistas, the friends, raising my sons in a small town environment. Truth be told, I sometimes get feeling a little sorry for myself for missing another fall there. One day while on a walk I was musing about this, and then I began to take the time to notice the fall colors all around me in SF. Not the same as the NH forest, not the same trees, not even the same kind of sky or air – but beautiful nonetheless. It reminded me that the wonder of God’s creation is always around us – we just need to be aware enough to notice. I also was reminded that here in SF we have veggies still growing in the fall – another wonder! So – a small slide show in celebration of the magic of fall……
