My friend Kris and I have been tending the St. Mark's garden for I guess about 5 years now. It's a little sliver of a garden right in the Civic center area. It is looking particularly pretty right now, as are the new plantings in front of the church. For your viewing pleasure...

I've been having fun with planting bright colors in my tiny front yard garden......a vine with bright orange blooms, salvia, torch lilies, bougainvillea, and wildflowers grown from seed in pots....I know that I usually post photos of veggie gardens, but today I can't resist how sweet this looks in the sunshine of a May afternoon.....
I have been struck this week by the brilliant spring colors all around us in SF. Here are just a few examples. Nature is so very beautiful.....
It's hard to believe it's May already - spring is truly present in the SF gardens I tend! Just one photo today - of our berry plants beginning to bloom at the St. Mark's garden. Looks like we might have a bumper crop coming...
